Arsenal in advanced talks to sign Dann
Sources around the UK are saying that Arsenal are close to signing Birmingham City defender Scott Dann for a fee thought to be around £6 million. The Birmingham player was great for Birmingham for the last few seasons and when he got injured towards the back end of last season they started losing games and went on to get relelgated.....
So then Arsenal are looking to sign Scott Dann, now it is nice to see Arsene looking at some English players for a change instead of looking abroad for big signings BUT im just not sure if Scott Dann is upto play for a team supposedly aiming for the top 4. Yeah when he played for Birmingham he looked ok and formed apretty decent partnership with Roger Johnson but im just not convinced he will be able to succeed at a top 4 chasing club and a team in the champions league. I just feel he lacks that composure to be a top centre half.
