Blackburn striker Nikola Kalinic joins Dnipro
Blackburn striker Nikola Kalinic has joined Ukrainian side Dnipro for an undisclosed fee, Rovers have confirmed.The 23-year-old Croatia international arrived at Ewood Park from Hadjuk Split in 2009 and scored seven goals in 33 appearances in the 2009-10 campaign.But Kalinic stuck just eight times in 21 games in last season and slipped down boss Steve Kean's pecking order. www.bbc.co.uk
Disappointing to see him leave the Premier league, thought he had the potential to be a top player, Always gave 100% in every game and thought he had a decent first season with the club. I suppose with the signing of Goodwillie it pushes him further back in the pecking order, I'm sure he just wanted to get some games under his belt. Wish him well in his future.
