Blackburn close in on Bamba Samba partnership!

Sky Sources say that Blackburn Rovers are closing in on the signing of Leicester City central defender Sol Bamba, they have been left short at the back with an injury to Ryan Nelsen and the sale of young defender Phil Jones to Manchester United.
Blackburn Manager Steve Kean had this to say when asked by Sky Sports about Bamba "We are quite close (to a deal), An offer has been put in and we are trying to progress although it is slow, The good news is it hasn't been rejected and we are moving forward."

I would really like to see this happen, Bamba and Samba centre backs at the same club you couldn't make it up! On a more serious note i think he would be an OK signing for Blackburn, he is a beast and with him and Samba at the back any striker up against them would feel a bit intimidated! I certainly wouldn't want to be a striker up against them two, that's for sure. They will also cause havoc at free-kicks when attacking them, Samba and Bamba are both known for scoring a lot of goals from headers! Whether Bamba has the ability to play in the Premier League however is yet to be seen. I guess we'll find out soon.
